OGDENSBURG — A newly reimagined Christmas classic set to debut on a stage in the city this month is unlike any adaptation audiences have seen before.
That’s because the show’s music, lyrics and orchestrations have all been written and produced by north country artists and writers.
St. John’s Conservatory Theater will present its romping musical comedy, “A Kreepy Christmas Carol,” Dec. 12, 13, 19 and 20. Curtain is at 7 p.m. There also will be a 2 p.m. matinée on Dec. 14.
In this adaptation, Scrooge finds himself haunted by four ghosts in a musical comedy that features a cast of familiar and new characters including, Tiny Tina, Bob Cratchit and the Ghost of Christmas “Presents.”
This musical comedy adaptation of the Dickens holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” is directed by R O’Donnell, with original book, music, and lyrics by award-winning playwright/composer Brazillia R. Kreep.
