“A Christmas Carol” Musical Comedy Returns
St. John’s Conservatory Theater is holding Auditions for their spectacular seasonal holiday production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
Auditions will be held this Saturday, October 29th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at the St. John’s Parish House on the corner of Knox and Franklin Street in Ogdensburg, NY. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in.
Opening December 9th and running through December 19th, A CHRISTMAS CAROL is a retelling of the Classic ghost story by Charles Dickens. With a book, music and lyrics by acclaimed writer Richard O’Donnell (under his penname Brazillia R. Kreep), A CHRISTMAS CAROL is both hilarious and touching, combining Dickens’ classic Victorian sensibilities along with an old London music hall ambiance.
SJCT principal creative staff includes Executive Producer Mr. O’Donnell, Director Christopher Dwyer, Musical Director and Choreographer Angela Conzone Dwyer, Arranger and Orchestrator Ryan C. McNally, Scenic and Prop Designer Stephen Chambers, Costume and Makeup Designer Karen Fischbeck, additional Costumes by Ann Losurdo and Heron Hetzler, Stage Manager Shelly Murdock, and Props Master Tonya Ott. Collectively they have over five decades of professional theatrical and academic experience including regional, stock, bus and truck, off-off-Broadway, off-Broadway, and Broadway stages.
Other vital SJCT personnel includes Rector Michael O’Donnell, assistant Technical Director Ryan Woodard, assistant Props Emma Murray, assistant Costumer Hannah Gardner, house manager Sheila LaMere, and general manager Bill LaMere.
