St. John’s Conservatory Theater (SJCT) will open their musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic Oliver Twist. Simply titled Twist, this new “twist” on the age-old classic features Christopher Rodriguez as the Artful Dodger and Caroline Silver as Olivia Twist. Twist opens the weekend of July 13th at the OFA George Hall Auditorium in Ogdensburg for a two-week run.

McNally, Scenic and Prop Designer Stephen Chambers, Costume and Makeup Designer Karen Fischbeck, Senior Costumer Heron Hetzler (Potsdam), Assistant Costumer Hannah Gardner, Technical Director and Lighting Designer Christopher Dwyer, Assistant Lighting Designer Sara Pabis, Sound Designer Richard Patton, Box Office and House Manager Sheila LaMere, General Manager Bill LaMere, and Props Master Tonya Ott. Collectively they have over five decades of professional theatrical and academic experience including regional, stock, bus and truck, off-off-Broadway, off-Broadway, and Broadway stages.
An Original Theater Company
SJCT offers the Ogdensburg community three seasonal (Winter, Summer, and Fall) all-original musicals. Their productions are fully staged, costumed, and orchestrated (the cast sing karaoke-style to a studio-produced score) and include an all-original book, music and lyrics. Nowhere else in the United States is there a professional regional theater company that produces all-original musicals. Nowhere but here, in Ogdensburg, New York, that is.
St. John’s Conservatory Theater is a non-profit company of actors, artisans, and artists. It is their vision to create educational, inspirational, and professional opportunities for local talent of all ages while presenting original musicals based on literature and legend.
